In celebration of Matariki this year, this garment features custom glow-in-the-dark embroidery of the nine stars of Matariki on the front only. It then features the star Puanga and Herenga Waka embroidered on the back.

This year's theme, Herenga Waka — the mooring place of many canoes — speaks to convergence, to the coming together of people's stories and creative practices in a shared space. It's a theme that runs through everything we do.

As part of our Matariki collection, a portion of the proceeds will be donated to Manaaki Rangatahi, supporting their kaupapa and the important work they do within our communities. We acknowledge the concerns around the commercialisation of this special time and are committed to ensuring our contribution honours the spirit, significance, and values of Matariki through both education and meaningful community support.
